Icons of the Plague

So, I wasn't really sure what the "black amber" part actually meant in the name of this creature. I decided to interpret it as "so old that the bones have blackened". Best I could manage was to invert the colors in the original image, and I'm rather pleased with the result. One of my players commented that it looks a bit cyberpunk and, well, fair. It's from the 13th Age SRD (link in the sidebar), so here are its stats as well:

Needed some cultists to be chanting while a fight went on. So I made this. I had a shot with the face more visible, but I liked this one better. When I showed it to one of my players, he commented that he'd always wanted to meet Palpatine. :)

This one hasn't been used yet, but I'm hoping to play a necromancer once I get to take off the GM hat for a while, and came up with this figure. The staff is from some Mega-blocks set I picked up. The figure itself was a ghost-knight from one of Lego's character-collections (which had this awesome face hidden behind a full-face helmet!!). Sadly, the lighting mostly washed the eyes out. I may try for a better shot at some point. The head-wrap is probably from a Prince of Persia set.

On the one hand, I'd do the lighting better if I redid this one. On the other, a rogue's face being hidden in shadow is rather appropriate.
